The fiction that Ally writes is so amazing that it has been produced in almost forty different languages, and her fiction has traveled all around the world. Ally Condie is a New York Times best selling author, and she is considered one of the greatest children’s book writers of all time by Publishers Weekly. She was able to teach young and old students alike. After graduating from a prestigious college, she went on to become a wonderful English teacher. As she got older, she realized she did not just want to be a writer, but she wanted to teach English and writing, too. ![]() She know even as a little girl that she wanted to be a writer. ![]() Words, the world of story, and the English language meant the world to her. Ally Condie grew up in a small town, and she loved to write on her spare time. ![]() ![]() I like how her artwork really shows the mood of the town. ![]() I like the artwork – I really like Raina’s style. I thought the book was really good! I like how there were supernatural things. The younger sister has cystic fibrosis and is very sick. ![]() The story is about two sisters who move to a new town. I started reading it right away and finished it one day! Raina gave me the book and she autographed it too! I was very excited when I found out that I won an advance copy of Ghosts. Here’s a preview of the first few pages of her book. It made me very happy to hear that she’s making a new book that was coming out on September 13, 2016. I love her books because they have a good plot and they are about female characters about my age. ![]() I’ve read all of Raina’s books which are Smile, Sisters, Drama, and four Babysitter Club books. We were at Toronto Comic Arts Festival and I got to meet Raina there and hear her talk about her new book ( read my blog post about that day).
